Lena Dunham to Appear in American Horror Story Season 7

As we wait for the reveal of the official title of “American Horror Story” Season 7 in just a few more hours, some rather surprising casting news has hit the Net courtesy of series co-creator and exec producer Ryan Murphy…

Per Murphy on Twitter, Lena Dunham (“Girls”) has joined the “AHS” family for the upcoming seventh season. No details about her role or how many episodes we’ll see her in have been revealed yet, but stay tuned!

“American Horror Story” Season 7 is set after the events of the 2016 Presidential election with the premiere episode taking place on Election Night.

Dunham joins previously announced newcomers Alison Pill, Billie Lourd, Billy Eichner, Colton Haynes, and Leslie Grossman; the returning “AHS” vets include Cheyenne Jackson, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Adina Porter.
