The last time we caught up with actress/producer Brooke Lewis, she was focusing on the feature film adaptation of her popular “Ms. Vampy” web series called Vamp it Out. Due to fan demand Lewis has decided to release a brand new web series in the meantime called “Ms. Vampy’s Tween Tawk, Teen Tawk & In Between Tawk.”
According to the official announcement from Philly Chick Pictures, Ms. Vampy is back to continue to inspire tween and teen girls in a “tawk” show format which covers issues that these girls are faced with today. This latest web series will also serve as a prelude to the movie, which Lewis has been busy prepping for over the last several months.
“It has been over two years since we shot the original ‘Ms. Vampy’ web series, and I feel that I owe her fans some current content while we are packaging and raising the financing for her Halloween family feature, Vamp it Out,” explained Lewis. “I am so blessed to have such loyal fans both in and out of the horror genre who email me all the time asking for more Ms. Vampy. My team and I also feel it is important to show the world that we are taking her in a direction toward a tween and teen audience.”
“As a woman and an actress/producer, I am super inspired to do this, and I really want to have an impact on women of all ages. The new web series ‘Ms. Vampy’s Tween Tawk, Teen Tawk & In Between Tawk’ involves a cast of tween and teen girls discussing issues that women face today with Ms. Vampy. I am just hoping to continue to have the love and support from the horror genre, and although my guy fans may not be as into it as the previous web series, I figure their wives, girlfriends and daughters will love it. I definitely am the luckiest person to have such an incredible cast and crew and group of fans that are so supportive,” Lewis added.
Production on the new Ms. Vampy web series wrapped this past weekend. Look for more news from Lewis and Philly Chick Pictures soon!
