A bit more info has come down regarding the JJ Abrams-produced monster movie that’s been being kept so quiet we actually have to dig for any information about it. Usually it’s not this hard to find out something about a movie.
The currently titled Cloverfield (which is apparently just a “cover up” title to help keep the project secret… great work so far…) is going to be directed by Pallbearer helmer Matt Reeves, a former writer for “Felicity” and director of the pilot for “Miracles”, according to sources for AICN. The teaser trailer will be attached to prints of Transformers, which as you all know opens tomorrow.
Cloverfield is a monster movie being shot 100% from the perspective of those witnessing the monster attacking New York City. Like they haven’t been through enough. Bloody Disgusting got a pretty good trailer description from one who saw it in front of Transformers recently (as well as the pic you see on the right), which you can check out right here.
