The slasher genre is one that might very well be poised for a comeback. With the right kind of entry, we could see a resurgence in horror that is gory, violent, and packed with high body counts. While I’m all for horror that is psychological and cerebral, sometimes I’m simply all for watching people get slaughtered.

Enter Sweden’s A Night in the Cabin, which will be coming out later this year. A trailer, stills, and a poster can be found below!

Directed by Johan Bodell and written by Erik Kammerland, A Night in the Cabin stars Caitlin Crommett, Chris Page, and Erik Kammerland.

Synopsis:
When a couple visits a remote cabin and cross paths with a compulsive liar, their vacation takes a dramatic turn for the worse.
