Release Date Shuffle – Dibbuk Box and Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark

And another two switches have been made by the studios to get a clear picture of just what the remainder of 2011 looks like release-wise, and we’re here to keep you in the loop. Note: We’re not exactly sure where the aforementioned loop is exactly, but damn it you are in it!
First up, Lionsgate announced today that Dibbuk Box, their new Sam Raimi-produced horror flick starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Kyra Sedgwick, Madison Davenport, and Natasha Calis, will now arrive in theaters next year. January 6, 2012 to be exact.
And finally the long awaited Guillermo del Toro produced remake of the television classic Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark from director Troy Nixey has gotten itself a two-week bump to August 26, 2011, pitting it directly against the newly dated Apollo 18
