Remember that scene in Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey where they’re in Hell and Bill has a horrific vision of his grandmother trying to give him a kiss? I can only imagine how many people that scarred for life, bringing about a fear of the geriatric demographic of Earth’s population. That’s why I think it’s weirdly brilliant to make horror movies based around our fear of the elderly. On top of being a physical manifestation of our fear of aging and impending death, some of them are just plain old creepy!

Enter writer/director Tudley James’ Granny of the Dead, the upcoming indie horror/comedy from Level 33 Entertainment. To give you a taste of the film, we’ve got our hands on an exclusive clip as well as some artwork for you to check out!

Granny of the Dead stars Marcus Carroll, Abigail Hamilton, Oliver Ferriman, William Huw, Sabrina Dickens, Nia Ann, Ricky Valentine, Tom Barker, Edward Way, Claire Hovey, Josh Wood, Steve Purbrick, Sam Jones, Rebecca Varey, and Tudley James. It was executively produced by Anthony C. Ferrante, director of Sharknado.

Synopsis:
Regular guy Ed awakes one morning to find that his Grandma has become one of the living dead. Trapped in his home, Ed struggles to handle the situation. When he discovers the rest of the town’s elderly have also been infected by the zombie plague, Ed must become a hero in order to save his family and friends.
