My God, do they ever stop? Seems like Phil & Sarah over at Clive Barker’s official resource page are always digging up some new bit of news from the renaissance man.
Today, for example, they’ve posted yet another lengthy, in-depth interview with the man in which he discusses the book he just finished, Mr. B Gone, about a very ugly, very nasty demon among men, as well as the status on the forever-in-the works final story of Pinhead, The Scarlet Gospels. Oh, yeah, and that pesky third Abarat book, Absolute Darkness.
But that’s not all the duo has for us this time; they’ve also got Clive’s original treatment for “Valerie on the Stairs” (review), the Season Two Masters of Horror entry directed by series creator Mick Garris. Many argue this was one of the weakest of the season; now you can see just how different Clive’s vision was from what the film turned out to be be.
And of course a thousand other fascinating things are discussed; it’s never a dull interview with a guy like Clive. Click here to check out the latest, and go here to start reading his original “Valerie” treatment!
Oh, and did I mention they also have exclusive, never-before-seen behind the scenes footage from Nightbreed? Amazing stuff; be sure to check it out!
