The psychological horror/thriller Wichita will be hitting DVD and Digital HD channels next Tuesday, June 20th, from Candy Factory Films. The movie follows a filmmaker and his crew of writers who embark on a writing retreat to knock out 30 scripts in 30 days for a failing children’s TV show. As they are there, everything devolves and the innocent retreat becomes a nightmare for everyone attending.
Directed by Matthew Ward and Justyn Ah Chong, Wichita stars Trevor Peterson, Caitlin Gerard, and Persia White.
Synopsis:
Wichita explores the pain of a modern mass killer on a frighteningly familiar level. As the voyeuristic director struggles to find dignity in a cruel world that has alienated him to the point of no return, this taut, provocative play on the horror genre leads to a disturbing, emotional climax.
