E3 2017: Ubisoft Pushes Limits of Virtual and Reality with Transference

Similar to the EA show, I tend to just glaze over the Ubisoft press conference. It’s not that I don’t like games like Rainbow Six Siege or Far Cry, but the clockwork release schedule and predictable content progression—along with some truly terribly launch bugs—have soured many gamers. In any case, whens the last time they came out with a good horror game? Well, it seems like Transference might change that. I checked in this year mostly to see if I could find out more about the snake monsters in Assassin’s Creed Origins, and was perplexed when I saw Elijah Wood come on screen. Proposing a strange marriage between games, movies, and memories, it was quickly apparent things were not what they seemed. See if you can figure it out:
