Go Behind-the-Scenes of Insidious Part 3

Our fly-on-the-wall view from the making of Insidious (review here) ends today as we bring you the third entry in our series of behind-the-scenes clips. In case you missed them, dig on Part 1 here and Part 2 here.

Insidious stars Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Ty Simpkins and Barbara Hershey and is directed by James Wan from a screenplay written by Leigh Whannell. Oren Peli, Jason Blum and Steven Schneider, the masterminds behind Paranormal Activity are the producers. This film is the terrifying story of a family who, shortly after moving, discover that dark spirits have possessed their home and that their son has inexplicably fallen into a coma.

Synopsis
This horror film is the terrifying story of a family who shortly after moving discover that dark spirits have possessed their home and that their son has inexplicably fallen into a coma. Trying to escape the haunting and save their son, they move again, only to discover that it was not their house that was haunted.

In the first clip Ty Simpkins adorably describes his role in the movie and what it’s like to learn French from Leigh Whannell.


In the second clip Leigh Whannell waxes on about the possible comedic stylings from the team of Tucker and Specs.


In the final clip stunt doubles for Ty Simpkins and Lin Shaye talk action sequences and their part in them.
