Funimation Gets Creepy With Tokyo Ghoul Acquisition

Funimation has announced that they have acquired the license for the live-action Tokyo Ghoul adaptation and that they will be bringing it to theaters “soon”. Below is a recording of a livestream with director Kentaro Hagiwara, actor Masataka Kubota and original author of “Tokyo Ghoul”, Sui Ishida.
Masataka Kubota stars as Ken Kaneki, the college student transformed into a bloodthirsty ghoul after a life saving operation leaves him with ghoul organs implanted into his body. Masataka Kubota, Fumika Shimizu, Yū Aoi, and Nobuyuki Suzuki also star, whilst Kentarô Hagiwara directs.
The film hits Japanese theaters on June 29th.
