Original Darksiders Rides Onto Wii U

No, that wasn’t a typo in the title of this article. Nintendo may have abandoned all first-party support for the Wii U, but other publishers may still release games on the system if they so choose. Which is why THQ Nordic have decided to bring the original Darksiders to the Wii U, marking its first appearance on a Nintendo system. Best of all, the Wii U version is the enhanced Warmastered Edition which was also released on PS4 and Xbox One, and featured improved visuals, rendering and textures form the original PS3 and Xbox 360 release.
The Wii U version of Darksiders Warmastered Edition is priced at $19.99, and can be purchased as both a digital download from the Nintendo eShop or as a physical edition from Amazon. If you purchase it from the eShop before July 31, you can also buy the Wii U version of Darksiders II for 75% off.
Synopsis:
Deceived by the forces of evil into prematurely bringing about the end of the world, War – the first Horseman of the Apocalypse – stands accused of breaking the sacred law by inciting a war between Heaven and Hell. In the slaughter that ensued, the demonic forces defeated the heavenly hosts and laid claim to the Earth.
