After making $75 million worldwide on a $20 million budget, is it any surprise that Tyler Perry’s Boo! A Madea Halloween (review) will be getting a sequel? Per Deadline, this October will be bringing audiences Boo 2! A Medea Halloween, the sequel to last Halloween season’s surprise horror/comedy hit.
Boo 2! A Medea Halloween is currently scheduled to come out October 20th.
Boo! A Madea Halloween starred Tyler Perry, Cassi Davis, Patrice Lovely, Lexy Panterra, Yousef Erakat, Andre Hall, Brock O’Hurn, and Bella Thorne.
Perry writes, directs, and stars in Boo 2! alongside a returning Davis and Lovely. Expect more announcements soon.

In Boo! A Madea Halloween, Madea winds up in the middle of mayhem when she spends a hilarious, haunted Halloween fending off killers, paranormal poltergeists, ghosts, ghouls, and zombies while keeping a watchful eye on a group of misbehaving teens.
