The CW’s Secret Circle Expands to Include Natasha Henstridge

What? You thought we were going to get through the day without some TV pilot casting news? Silly you! One more name has signed on to The CW’s upcoming witchy show “Secret Circle”, and we have to admit we’re intrigued. One of the fairest of her “species”, Natasha Henstridge, is joining Kevin Williamson’s newest project.

The CW's Secret Circle Expands to Include Natasha Henstridge“Secret Circle” centers on Cassie (Brittany Robertson), a California teen who moves to her mom’s hometown of New Salem and discovers that she is a witch and part of a secret coven. She’s also the key that will unlock a centuries-old battle of good versus evil. Joining Robertson are the previously announced Louis Hunter, Shelley Hennig, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Phoebe Tonkin, and Thomas Dekker.

Dekker portrays Adam, the oldest member of the aforementioned coven and a love interest for Cassie. Per TVLine Henstridge will play Dawn Chamberlain, the New Salem High School vice principal who was once a friend of Cassie’s mother and knows all about the coven that has ruled the town for over 300 years.

Williamson is penning the script and serving as an executive producer on the project, which, with its auspices, has emerged as a strong contender for a pilot pickup. The CW’s pilot episode will be directed by Liz Friedlander. Keep it here for more as it comes.
