Vin Diesel in Talks for Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters

With Breck Eisner nearing the director’s chair the hunt is officially on for a star for Summit Entertainment’s upcoming film The Last Witch Hunter. Since evil witch’s are known to be troublesome you need somebody big enough to handle whatever they can brew up. Enter Vin Diesel.

According to Bloody Disgusting action star Vin Diesel has “entered early talks” to star in Summit’s devilish tale of treacherous trickery.

Eisner is in early talks to direct the flick with Timur Bekmambetov attached to produce. Summit acquired the pitch from the writer behind the upcoming Priest film, Cory Goodman. The tale centers upon a witch hunter (Diesel) who is seeing a surge in warlocks and witches and needs to keep the population “in check.”

I’m sure the final word will be coming soon, but in the interim join us in watching Diesel breakdance. Huzzah.
