Adam Savage Learns About the Special Effects of Alien: Covenant

Ahead of its Friday release, the renowned Mythbuster Adam Savage has been posting videos from his visit to the set of Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant. Today he releases another one where he ventures into the world of the practical effects used to create not only the creatures we’ll be seeing in the film but also the world itself. Savage, the lucky sonuvabitch, gets to play with facehuggers, eggs, and walk amongst the gigantic set pieces that Scott required for the film. You can see it all in the below video.

Synopsis:
Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created, with ALIEN: COVENANT, a new chapter in his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise. The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise but is actually a dark, dangerous world.
