If you haven’t been watching “Rick and Morty”, I can’t tell you how much you’re missing out. The first two episodes are very solid but the show really picks up starting on the third, taking the titular duo into space, alternate dimensions, strange video games, and more. It’s one of the most wildly inventive and imaginative shows I’ve ever seen!
For those who have watched it, you’ll know that the show loves to reference other properties or do direct homages. So it’s not surprising at all that “Rick and Morty” would do an Alien: Covenant segment and dare to pit our two heroes against an Engineer ship and a facehugger! Synopsis:
Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created, with ALIEN: COVENANT, a new chapter in his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise. The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise but is actually a dark, dangerous world.
