Brian Hallisay Joins the Awakening

As a recent participant in Scott Spiegel’s Hostel: Part III, Brian Hallisay is no stranger to the horror genre. He’s going to continue on that path after landing a gig in the upcoming zombie pilot on The CW, Awakening.
Bloody Disgusting has learned that Hallisay will join the show, which centers around two combative sisters (Meredith Hagner and Lucy Griffiths) who come of age amid the beginning of a zombie uprising. Word has it that the series follows thousands of zombies living “normal lives” among the living (also known as the “pre-dead”). The two worlds collide and cause war between the living and the dead.
Sounds like someone at The CW is looking to carve a little slice out of “The Walking Dead”‘s audience, yes? It was inevitable. And while not much else is known at this point in time, I’m willing to bet these particular zombies will be the ‘infected’ and speedy kind. Blarg.
