Will Chase Joins Stranger Things Season 2

A bit more casting news has come regarding the upcoming second season of fan favorite “Stranger Things” as “Nashville” and “American Crime Story” alum Will Chase has signed on to the show. Details are scarce, but TVLine revealed that Chase will play Neil Mayfield, the father of a family of recent transplants to Hawkins, Indiana, from California.
The site further speculates that Mayfield’s offspring are the previously announced two new kids in town, played by Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery. We’ll find out on October 31st if they’re correct.
In addition to Sink and Montgomery, Chase joins other new cast members Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Brett Gelman, Linnea Berthelsen, and Rob Morgan for Season 2 of Netflix’s “Stranger Things.” The returning regulars are Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, and Charlie Heaton.
About “Stranger Things” Season 2: A year after Will’s return, everything seems back to normal… but a darkness lurks just beneath the surface, threatening all of Hawkins.
