SXSW 2011: Insane Trailer Debut – Joseph Kahn’s Slasher Flick Detention

In anticipation of its premiere at Austin, Texas’ SXSW Film Festival this month, a new trailer has debuted for Torque director Joseph Khan’s latest horror entry, Detention.
It looks interesting to say the least. Let us know what you think below.
Detention stars Dane Cook, Josh Hutcherson, Shanley Caswell, Spencer Locke, Parker Bagley, Alison Woods, Walter Perez, and Evan Williams. Look for more soon.
Synopsis:
The film follows a 17-year-old who is given detention on the night of her prom. Over the course of the night her friends are murdered by a fictional horror movie icon. It’s said to be in the vein of Scream with elements of Back to the Future (time travel is involved) and classic John Hughes teen films from the 80’s.
