Walt Disney World Getting a Haunted Mansion Themed Restaurant?

There’s an interesting rumor making its way around that the Magic Kingdom theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort will be getting a restaurant themed after the Haunted Mansion. This information comes from a user on the forum WDWMagic, who writes, “…let me again spell out that a new Haunted Mansion eating venue/experience is coming to the [Magic Kingdom]…”
The Haunted Mansion is a ride at three different Disney theme parks: Disneyland, Magic Kingdom, and Tokyo Disneyland. Each location offers a slightly different experience, although the core idea of a person getting on a ride through a manor inhabited by 999 happy haunts is unchanged. The first Haunted Mansion appeared in Disneyland in 1969 and has remained a mainstay ever since.
As of now, there are no additional details on what a Haunted Mansion restaurant would be like or what kind of food it would offer but if this happens then it’ll be the rare thing that actually makes me want to go to the Magic Kingdom!
