This was a tough week actually. There was lots of good artwork to choose from for this week’s Eyegasm, but in the end we whittled it down to these picks for our best and worst. Tell us what you think below.
BEST:
Beyond the Gates
Distributed by IFC Midnight/Shout Factory
Here it is, kids. One of the most perfect blends of 80’s nostalgia and modern horror you’re likely to come across. Much like the movie itself. Good on the powers-that-be to keep the vibe going with the marketing. Love it.
WORST:
Blood of the Tribades
Distributed by Launch Over
And here we have the exact opposite of the above. This is kind of like nostalgia gone wrong. It’s not terrible, but it misses the mark by a mile. However: Brownie points for the lack of floating heads and/or horrendous Photoshopping.
