MTV is finally moving its way into our genre, something that makes so much sense I’m surprised it took this long for it to finally happen.
This morning The Hollywood Reporter got word on two new projects being developed by the former music video channel; “Darius”, a thriller that will focus on the dark secrets of an all-American boy by using traditional narrative and multimedia elements to tell its story; and “Cheerleader Camp”, described as Heathers meets Scream, but no more info was ready at press time.
Both projects are being produced through Tony Krantz’s Flame Ventures production house. Krantz, you may recall, recently made his directorial debut with Sublime (review), one of the first batch of Raw Feed titles, and serves as producer on the overall Raw Feed series as well.
We’ll keep our ears open for more on both and let you know as soon as there’s something new for either!
