First Image from Rise of the Apes Hits Online

Yep, the very first image from 20th Century Fox’s Planet of the Apes: Rise of the Apes is here, and we just wish it was a bit more exciting. Then again, I suppose if you’re into looking at James Franco studying, then this is your lucky day!

Set in San Francisco, Rise of the Apes revolves around man’s experiments with genetic engineering that lead to a dramatic increase in the intelligence of apes and the onset of war for supremacy. Rupert Wyatt is directing from a script by Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa.

The great Andy Serkis plays the ape Ceasar, and the film also stars James Franco, John Lithgow, Freida Pinto, Brian Cox, Tom Felton, and David Hewlett.

Look for it in theatres on November 23rd.

You're such an inspiration for the ways that I will never, ever choose to be.

You can see him stuck in a crevice with his hand trapped by a rock in the movie ‘127 Hours’. It’s a technically adept film about a dumb fuck who runs off alone into the wilderness to get his hand stuck under a rock for (wait for it) ‘127 hours’.

Nothing else happens in this time, but for some reason the audience is supposed to see this retard as a hero for surviving his own stupidity which placed him in the problematic situation in the first place.

Probably this unnecessary reboot will be just as interesting.

        ENTER: Into the Wild.

I felt the same exact way about that movie. It infuriates me to no end that people look up to that nut sack.

I sat through that sorry, dull pointless excuse for a movie! When Pinhead talks about suffering that’s the kind of thing he must mean.

Although the movie I am about to mention is NOT as bad as the above mentioned, it still had somewhat of the same affect on me. I really had to make myself sit through it, thinking it had to get better, something sooner or later had to happen. And it didn’t. And the end was stupid. And I had to ask myself….”What was Will Patton thinking”!

Never seen it and thanks to your comment it’s a bullet I’ll be avoiding.

Whew. If I can save only one, then my job is done. I have truly saved you an hour and a half of your life you could have never had back.I enjoy the “couple” stranded or being stalked survivor type flicks (The Strangers,Them,Open Water, Frozen,Vacancy) but this was just TOO boring. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING happens. And the end? Dumb, and entirely predictable.
