Nazi Zombies Return in Call Of Duty: WWII

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you would have by now seen the debut trailer for Call of Duty: WWII, which takes Activision’s megafranchise back to its roots. If you somehow missed it, give it a watch below.

Developer Sledgehammer Games confirmed on Twitter that Call of Duty: WWII will once again feature a Nazi Zombie mode, along with a close-up image of a the decomposing face of one particularly mean looking walking corpse. I think he’s practically begging for you to end it all by putting a bullet in his head.

We don’t know much else about the zombie mode at this point, although it was described in the following press release as being “an all-new cooperative mode featuring a unique standalone storyline set during World War II that’s full of unexpected, adrenaline-pumping action.” Sounds good to me.

As it’s name suggests, the game’s main campaign will be set during the Second World War, with a focus on gritty realism as opposed the the action blockbuster approach taken by most of the recent entries in the series. It will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 3.
