Wow, remember the movie Whisper? We’ve done a story on it here and there over the years, but more often than not it’s just been sitting in the vault at Gold Circle Films, apparently, while they’re unsure of what to do with it. It’s probably right next to Patrick Lussier’s White Noise 2: The Light.
No worries, though, because the guys at Upcoming Horror Movies managed to track down some new stuff, anyway; namely a bucketload of new pics (see ‘em here) and an official Spanish site, though why it’s got one in Spain and not here I’m really not sure, but you can still click here to check it out.
The film had a run in the Philippines back in May, though so far that’s the only release it’s seen. For those of you who can’t recall, Whisper is about a gang of thieves who kidnap a wealthy couple’s young child but have no idea what they’ve gotten themselves into being around the boy. The premise is pretty creepy, and it does star “Lost” hunk Josh Holloway (or so the ladies tell me…), so what’s with the big delay? Hey, it’s Hollywood! It doesn’t have to explain itself to you!
