Sigourney Weaver’s name was brought up on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” last night, and while the host couldn’t officially confirm whether or not iconic character Ellen Ripley will appear in any of the various Alien/Prometheus features planned by Ridley Scott, including the upcoming Alien: Covenant, he did provide us with a clip of the star’s “cameo” in the new film.

Ellen Ripley has saved the entire human race from hostile Xenomorphs on more than one occasion. But Randy from Weyland-Yutani’s Medical Bay might be her most threatening foe yet…

Look for Alien: Covenant everywhere on May 19th.

Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, and Benjamin Rigby star in Alien: Covenant. Ridley Scott directed the film, which was written by John Logan and Dante Harper based on a story by Jack Paglen and Michael Green.
