Eloise Mumford Sails Down the River into Darkness

Horror on TV hasn’t been this hot in forever, and everyone’s getting into the act. One project we cannot wait for is without question Paranormal Activity creator Oren Peli and his partners Jason Blum and Steven Schneider’s new series for ABC, “The River”. Today we found out who the first aboard is going to be.
That’s right, kids, the first *ahem* victim to take this upcoming journey into terror will be “Lone Star”‘s Eloise Mumford (pictured right). Director Jaume Collet-Serra (House of Wax, Orphan, Unknown) recently signed on to direct the pilot episode.
“The River” centers on a family who travels to the deep Amazon to locate and rescue their missing father. Look for more on it really soon.
