Woody Harrelson Not Sure Zombieland 2 Is the “Right Thing to Do”

Woody HarrelsonIt’s been a while since the prospect of a Zombieland 2 (in 3D no less) has been discussed around these parts, and if Woody Harrelson has his way, it might just stay that way.

In a recent chat with Total Film Harrison (aka Tallahassee in Ruben Fleischer’s original Zombieland) said, “I’m sure it will happen if everyone does it, but I’m not sure it’s the right thing to do. It’s one thing to do it when it came out real good and it made a lot of people laugh, but then to do a sequel…99 out of 100 are worse by a lot. So I don’t know.

Harrelson ended the interview with the ominous sounding, “I don’t feel like a sequels guy.

Guess we’ll see if another good script and/or a fat paycheck can get him to change his mind.

You're such an inspiration for the ways that I will never, ever choose to be.

I’m not gonna kill you. Your job will be to tell the rest of them that death is coming for them, tonight. Tell them Eric Draven sends his regards.

I’d rather they not continue on. What more is there to tell? That and I vehemently disliked the first one.

I think Zombieland 2 could move on just fin without him. Kill him off in the first minute with an appropriate prop standing in (make it out of wood so it appoximates his acting style) then introduce a new actor as his brother.
