Expedia Now Has a Map of (A Few) Mythical Creatures

One of the wonderful things about encountering people from other cultures is hearing about the urban legends and folklore that they grew up with. After all, the things that go bump in the night are very different in Japan from the ones that give children nightmares in Finland. Each country, each culture, has its own series of monstrosities and I’m always fascinated to hear the history of these creatures, to understand why they have such an impact upon the people in a particular region.
To try and help steer people in the right path towards finding such oddities, Expedia has created a charming world map with the locations of such iconic creatures as Bigfoot, the Yeti, Kappas, Unicorns, and more. If you want to flip through the map, simply head on over to Expedia’s website.
