Every few days another name gets thrown into the mix in terms of who will be directing Lionsgate’s adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and this week follow suit accordingly.
New York Magazine’s The Vulture is reporting that Fright Night remake director Craig Gillespie is in talks to direct the long talked about flesh eater flick. We’ll keep an eye on things and will let you know how it all shakes out.
The Seth Grahame-Smith-penned novel mixes Jane Austen’s 1813 classic novel Pride and Prejudice centering on Elizabeth Bennet’s quest for love and independence amid the outbreak of a virus that turns the dead into zombies. The story’s set in an alternate version of 19th Century England that features deadly ancestors roaming the countryside.
