There Could Be More Projects Coming From Sam Raimi

Famed genre producer/writer/director Sam Raimi has inked a first-look deal with Skydance Television and they’ve stated that there are multiple projects that they have in development already, although they won’t announce them as of yet. We’ll know more in the coming months.
Chief Executive Officer of Skydance Media David Ellison explains, “Over Sam’s prolific decades-long career, he has proven time and again his capacity to tell stories that simultaneously embrace action, adventure, humor, thrills, and mystery. On behalf of our entire team, I’d like to welcome Sam into the Skydance family.”
Raimi is known for bringing horror the Evil Dead franchise, which saw four original movies as well as the spin-off TV series “Ash vs Evil Dead”. He also directed Drag Me to Hell and The Gift as well as produced The Grudge, 30 Days of Night, Don’t Breathe, The Possession, and many, many more Dread Central relevant titles.
The thought of more Sam Raimi projects is incredibly exciting! Raimi’s projects almost always have a fantastic quality about them and he attaches himself to interesting projects, even if some of them don’t necessarily pan out (I’m looking at you, Spider-Man 3).
