Eva Green to Cast Some Dark Shadows?

And the possible casting news continues for Tim Burton’s take on the classic television horror soap opera Dark Shadows. It seems as if we just may have one hell of a tempting witch on our hands.
According to Variety French actress Eva Green (pictured right) is in talks to join the cast of Warner Bros.’ Dark Shadows opposite Johnny Depp and Bella Heathcote with Tim Burton directing.
If signed, Green would portray the temptress Angelique, a role played by Lara Parker in the supernatural TV series.
Seth Grahame-Smith will be writing and Johnny Depp is attached to star and produce with Graham King’s GK Flms. Depp had obtained feature rights “Dark Shadows” in 2007 from the estate of Dan Curtis, the producer/director who created “Dark Shadows.” The series aired on weekdays on ABC from 1966 to 1971 with 1,225 episodes.
