A new trailer for 20th Century Fox’s War for the Planet of the Apes has been released and it takes the action and immediacy of the storyline to near astronomical heights. If you’ve been wanting this series to come to a point where it feels like everything is on the line, where every decision can potentially change the fate of humanity or apekind forever, this is the film for you.
War for the Planet of the Apes is directed by Matt Reeves and stars Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson, Steve Zahn, Amiah Miller, Karin Konoval, Judy Greer, and Terry Notary. It comes out July 14th, 2017.
Synopsis:
Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the Colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species and the future of the planet.
