GWAR Making Their Triumphant Return to Comics in Orgasmageddon!

Heavy metal band and Scumdogs of the Universe GWAR are coming back to the comic book world this June in GWAR: Orgasmageddon! The series will follow the band as they travel through time, getting into crazy hijinks and silly antics left and right! The series was written by GWAR and Matt Miner (Toe Tag Riot, Critical Hit) and features art from Jonathan Brandon Sawyer (Welcome Back, Critical Hit).
GWAR’s Sawborg Destructo (aka Matt Maguire) explains:
“It’s awesome to have a comic coming out! We had some in the 90’s, but it’s about time we got back into the comic book world. When Matt Miner and I first talked, everything clicked and I knew we were going to do a cool project. It was really cool to see all the support from the fans who pledged money to Kickstarter. We knew people wanted to see more GWAR comics, so it was great to reach our goal. We can’t wait to show all of the amazing work that is being generated for this comic! With Dynamite in our corner, it’s gonna be a big book!“
Miner has planted his feet and strongly proclaimed, “It’s sure to be the greatest — or, at least, the bloodiest and funniest — comic book series of 2017!”
The first issue will be coming out this June, so make sure to pre-order a copy with your local comic book shop!
Synopsis:
Banished to the past by the cold and calculating Mr. Perfect, the heroes of GWAR trample through time like a deranged Bill & Ted on bath salts. Antics ensue as they stomp and smash and shape human history to what we accept as our current reality.
