Roger Corman and Jim Wynorski Breeding a Piranhaconda

Diana Terranova - PiranhacondaHow can you possibly top Sharktopus? One word: Piranhaconda!

Matchflick brings the news that Dinocroc/Dinoshark/Supergator/Sharktopus producer Roger Corman has another high concept mutant up for cinematic gene splicing, a hybrid of a piranha and an anaconda. Sharktopus scribe Michael MacLean is penning the script to be directed by Jim Wynorski of Chopping Mall, Return of Swamp Thing, and Dinocroc vs. Supergator fame.

The movie revolves around the battle with a creature “with razor sharp teeth and 100 feet of constricting power.”

That’s all we know right now plot-wise, and when talking about a movie titled Piranhaconda, that’s really all you need.

Shooting begins next month in Hawaii. The only announced cast member at this time is Diana Terranova (8212: Gacy House, MILF).

No doubt we’ll see Piranhaconda slithering around Syfy sometime in the future.

For me, there’s no problem if they teamed up for this movie. Corman is a good director and I am sure that he can cope up with Wynorski.

Why God why, does Wynorski still make movies? Please Corman, feed starving children or something with the money allocated for a Wynorski film.

What a rape. The razor companies already have products with 5 or 6 shaving blades (and fuck are they useless), but we’re still only getting TWO predators mixed together? Lets up the ante, people, 3 at the least.

The body of a gorilla, the tail of a boa constrictor, and the head of a shark.
