The Walking Dead Season 2 as Early as July?

We, just like every other fan out there, simply cannot stand the news that we may have to wait until next October to dig our claws into Season Two of the hit AMC original series, “The Walking Dead”. Talk about a long time. However …

A glimmer of hope may have appeared in a really unlikely place. During a New York Magazine interview with Bryan Cranston, star of the equally as incredible AMC show, “Breaking Bad”, Cranston was asked why he thought the season premiere of his show was pushed to July. His answer came in on the surprising side of the fence.

“It was a decision from AMC that they wanted to position us in July, along with Mad Men. And I believe they’re going to put Walking Dead in July as well. I think it’s just a sensible thing — they want to attract as many eyeballs as possible, away from the heavy competition of the September, November, January start.”

Could be something. Could be nothing. At least it offers us eager flesh-eaters a glimmer of hope. Stay tuned.

Look for Season One of “The Walking Dead” to hit Blu-ray and DVD on March 8th. Pre-order your copy below!

You're such an inspiration for the ways that I will never, ever choose to be.

This is tremendous news! I love this show…so the sooner the better. I get refining the show. But I guess Im greedy. On a side note “Breaking Bad” is another show that blows my mind every time I watch it.

Hmmm, I rather wait till October; I don’t want them to rush Season 2. Now if they’re already writing or shooting, sure. But if they’re in early preproduction, no way.

I hope this materializes in to news soon, it’d be cool if we could get it in July and not October.
