We’ve been sitting on this news for a while now because, well, the right people asked us really nicely. Thankfully today we’ve finally gotten the go ahead to let us open our big mouths as a reward.
The filmmakers behind Unholy, the Nicholas Brendan/Adrienne Barbeau vehicle that’s been rolling around for a few years now, are happy to announced that the film has officially been picked up by Starz Home Entertainment (Anchor Bay) for release this September 4th, 2007 onto DVD!
While Starz/Anchor Bay will be making their own announcement very soon, the filmmakers got the go-ahead to give us the first word on this very exciting announcement. Unholy is a movie we’ve been waiting for for years now; very few have seen it but those who have had some great things to say, so I can’t wait to see if it was worth it!
For those uneducated, Barbeau and Brendan star as a mother and son, trying to piece together the reason their daughter/sister (relatively) killed herself right after uttering the words “Beware the experiment”. The truth they slowly uncover is a horrifying reality dealing with the supernatural and Nazi experiments kept alive and well in today’s society.
