Help Put the Massacre in Social Media

Dozens of times a day someone gets in touch with us to find out if we’ll run a story about funding a project they want to get started working on. While we’re always looking to help out, we really try and dig through the oceans of these offers to find the ones that not only are cool, but stand a chance of happening. Such is the case here.
Extra funding or not, Ron Purtee’s web series The Social Media Massacre will be coming this spring to haunt a monitor near you. The project is happening, and filmmaker Purtee is simply trying to raise some money to make the series the best that it possibly can be. The folks behind it aren’t looking for much, but as I’m sure you know, every contribution, no matter how big or small, will certainly help.
The series is based on the short of the same name and will have a new killer or death based on social media every episode. The upcoming season is going to be 6 episodes to test the waters, and each episode will be no longer than 10 minutes. The first episode will debut near the end of March.
