Mutant Planet Reimagines Documentary Footage as a Creature Feature Short

Smash TV has released Mutant Planet, the second episode of their Natural Selection series. This video takes archival BBC Earth footage and reimagines the nature documentary as a creature feature short horror film. Using Mica Levi’s music from Under the Skin, the short is unsettling and haunting, proving that no matter what monstrosities film throws our way, what we’ve got on our own planet may very well be even more distressing.
