And the casting news for the television adaptation of Joe Hill’s “Locke & Key” continues, this time with a face who’s no stranger to TV and very weird circumstances.
According to Deadline Hollywood Nick Stahl has joined the cast of Fox’s drama pilot “Locke & Key”, which was originally targeted for summer but is now for fall consideration. Stahl will be playing Duncan Locke, Rendell’s younger brother who was married to Nina.
Locke & Key revolves around Nina (Miranda Otto) and her three kids, Tyler, Kinsey (Sarah Bolger), and Bode, who survive an unspeakable horror and attempt to rebuild their lives at Keyhouse, their family home in Lovecraft, Massachusetts. It is a mysterious New England mansion, with fantastic and transformative keys hidden inside its walls that are also being sought by a hate-filled and relentless creature with ties to the Locke family’s past who will stop at nothing to accomplish his sinister goals.
Josh Friedman (“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”) will write the pilot. Mark Romanek is on board to direct the pilot episode. Look for more soon!
