Here’s What Opening a 38-Year-Old Alien Movie Photo Cards Pack Yields

The 1979 sci-fi/horror film Alien will forever be one of my favorite genre movies. The production is gorgeous, the story is tight, the acting is fantastic, and it set off a franchise that has turned the Xenomorph into a cultural icon. It’s honestly very difficult to gauge just how much of an impact the film had because it has stretched into so many different directions.

However, let’s not forget that the movie never knew it would reach such a status when it was first released. Instead, it was just another sci-fi/horror creature flick that wanted to appeal to as many people as possible. That’s why there were movie photo card packs that included stickers, pieces of gum, and trading cards for teens and young adults to enjoy.

One such person is Reddit user Grimdotdotdot, who decided to open his 38-year-old pack to see what was inside. Turns out there were some very interesting items inside that offered behind-the-scenes photos as well as stills that weren’t in the film itself.

Below is a gallery of the cards. If you’ve got any and want to open them and share the contents with us, just let us know in the comments or hit me up on Twitter!
