It’s hard to believe that we’re already up to the eighth chapter in the legendary Silent Hill franchise, but alas, it is upon us and will be in stores later this year. Get ready for Silent Hill: Downpour!

Said to be the largest Silent Hill game yet, Silent Hill: Downpour will require the gamer to use the game’s subway system (stench of hobo piss not included) as a means to get around! The psychological profiling aspect of the series, which first appeared in Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, is back, and as you’ll see from the E3 2010 announcement trailer below, everything is looking appropriately spooky!
