The Predator – Shane Black: “PG-13 Is for Pussies”

There’s nothing that’s worse than a PG-13 entry into a franchise that’s largely been rated R. With Shane Black’s The Predator going into production, the director has taken to Twitter to give fans an idea exactly where his head is at in terms of the rating for his film.
“And, just to be clear… PG-13 is for pussies. Spines bleed… a lot.”

Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Thomas Jane, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Jacob Tremblay, and Trevante Rhodes star. Black is directing from a script by Fred Dekker. John Davis, Joel Silver, and Lawrence Gordon — who produced the original — are producing.
In The Predator, which will be rated R, Munn is playing a scientist opposite Holbrook’s Special Forces commando.
Look for The Predator in theaters on February 9, 2018.
