Horror Nights are Here to Stay!

Ah, if only to be on the Left Coast. How many times have I lamented about being stuck out East when all the cool horror shit goes down a full country away? Too many. Someday I will do something about it, damnit.
This latest bit of whining comes as a direct result of a press release I just got about Universal Studios Hollywood’s upcoming Halloween Horror Nights, a celebration of the macabre as only the big boys at Uni can do it.
This year the festivities will be overseen by a character known only as The Director (pictured), who is ready to use everything at his disposal on Universal’s backlot to make his latest and greatest horror feature. Actors and guests will mingle seamlessly, and for the first time in the studio’s near hundred-year history, guests will be allowed to disembark from the studio trams and walk among some historic horror setepieces.
Along with this badass chunk of news, they have also installed some new pieces to make it even more fun like “Chucky’s Insultorium”, the “Carnival of Carnage”, and performances by The Mutaytor.
