Spend Christmas Eve with Your Favorite Monsters!

Sick of endless repeats of It’s A Wonderful Life or those seen-to-death Rankin-Bass animated throwbacks? Well, fans of cheesy monster movies have an alternative on Christmas Eve.

For the past year, our friends at FearWerx have presented a Friday night “Chat-Along Monstercast” with a double feature of monster movies hosted by some of the nation’s funniest cable horror hosts. More than just a movie marathon, the Monstercast also lets thousands of fellow fans from around the globe chat with each other in real time while the films roll.

This Friday night, Christmas Eve, the Monstercast features a marathon of Ghoultide badness hosted by New York based funnymen The Ghouligans. Their special brand of horror sketch comedy will frame out a whole night of Christmas horror films including the holiday classic Santa Claus Conquers The Martians, Silent Night Bloody Night and two versions of A Christmas Carol, including a rare one hosted by Vincent Price!

The marathon also features cartoons, trailers, trivia and video-taped shout-outs from horror hosts around the country, plus live interaction with the hosts and tons of fellow fans looking to spend a little Halloween time during Christmas.

Although it marks the last Monstercast on the 100 Years of Monster Movies website, it will also feature previews of its next incarnation, The Monster Channel, which launches January 1 as a 24/7 online interactive channel featuring movies, classic TV series, trailers, horror-rock music videos, original programming and horror hosts from all over.

The Christmas Eve special with The Ghouligans begins at 8:00PM Eastern time on the 100 Years of Monster Movies website. Don’t forget to friend them on Facebook, too!
