Spread the Germ, Eat Your Neighbor!

It’s no secret we live in a world riddled with germs. Just about everything is contagious in one form or another (especially stupidity), but we do our best to shield ourselves and our loved ones. But what if we couldn’t? What if the thing that is spreading, this new disease, is cannibalism?

That’s the basic premise of the new indie feature Germ, directed by John Craddock, written by John Thomas Boone III, and starring Marguerite Mitchell. It’s produced by JT Boone, Lynette Dixon, and Shep Boone of Two Thirds Production.

Set in a small upstate New York village whose inhabitants have been infected by a germ that causes them to become extremely violent, killing everyone and everything before eventually offing themselves, Germ follows the exploits of Brooke (Mitchell), who, along with her immediate family and boyfriend, has to fight her way through an entire town filled with cannibalistic zombie-like inhabitants.
