Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Piranha 3DD Head to New Orleans

Every time we think of New Orleans, we still can’t help but be a little sad. Having visited the lovely city pre-Katrina, we quickly developed a soft spot for it and those delicious roast beef po’ boys. Anyway, it’s good to see the city getting back on its feet, and thanks to some nice film incentives, a couple of horror flicks have set up shop in the South!

According to Nola.com both Fox’s Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Dimension’s Piranha 3DD sequel have found their respective stomping grounds.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is set to kick off production on January 24th, 2011, and Piranha 3DD will be shooting from January 17th to February 18th. Look for more on both of these flicks sooner rather than later.
