You Will Scream at the Cineplex During a Midnight Movie Gone Wrong

The “teens start dying while watching a horror movie” theme has been done to death by now in movies like Midnight Movie, of course Scream, and even oddball oddities like Popcorn. Still, that’s not stopping anyone from trying again, and as long as they die gruesomely, hell, we’ll take it!

According to Pajiba Mandate Pictures is developing Cineplex, a movie based on a pitch envisioning the horror movie as the next Scream.

It’s about a group of teens watching a horror movie who are taken by surprise when the villain of the film attacks them in real life. Sound just a bit familiar? We’ll keep an eye on this one to see if anything actually pans out. Stay tuned!
