Some more types of paranormal activity are about to be investigated, this time in a town instead of a house, and that opens the door for things to get really interesting, don’t ya think?
According to Screen Daily US studio Sony has joined Sergi Vizcaino’s new horror project Scars alongside Spanish outfit Rodar Y Rodar, producers of The Orphanage.
Scars is based on a script by Daniel Padro and will tell the story of a group of university students who set up camp in an abandoned town to investigate possible paranormal activities. Rodar Y Rodar is currently enjoying success with Guillem Morales’ horror/thriller Julia’s Eyes, starring Belen Rueda, which has so far taken $8m at the Spanish box office through Universal Pictures International and has been sold to more than 40 territories by DeaPlaneta.
